The 2nd annual Being Globally Responsible Conference (BGRC) was held successfully in CEIBS, Shanghai , from May 11 th to 13 th . With the theme ˇ°Responsible Leaders Building a Sustainable Futureˇ±, this conference focused on the issues related to environment and sustainable development, and tried to bring more awareness of corporate social responsibility (CSR) to MBA students from Asia-Pacific area.
The conference was organized by a group of MBA students from CEIBS after more than 5 months of preparation, and was sponsored by Degussa ( China ), Atlas Copco ( China ) and Gamesa ( China ). China-CSR magazine also supported BGRC by featuring BGRC specially in their magazine and website.
About 150 MBA students from over 20 business schools in Asia-Pacific area and more than 50 business professionals and NGO representatives attended the 3-day conference.
